Zayed National Museum Opens as a Falcon-Winged Beacon in Abu Dhabi

The Zayed National Museum officially opened on December 3, 2025, on Saadiyat Island, featuring five dramatic “falcon-wing” towers designed by Foster + Partners. The museum offers six permanent galleries and a temporary exhibition space, housing more than 1,500 artifacts that trace the UAE’s history from prehistoric times to the modern era. Its architectural design combines traditional Arabian symbolism with sustainability innovations, intending to become a cultural landmark and celebrate the heritage of the country’s founding generation.
