Dubai and the United Kingdom are two contrasting destinations, yet both are popular choices for foreigners seeking opportunities for work, business, or a fresh start. Many consider Dubai a better option due to its high quality of living at relatively affordable costs for expatriates.
Despite being an Arab country, Dubai is highly welcoming to foreigners, with expats making up 85% of its population, while only 15% are native Emiratis. In contrast, the UK has a predominantly local population, with migrants accounting for just 14% of the total in 2021, 35% of whom resided in London.
