UAE: Dubai Announces Free Parking And Extended Metro Hours For Prophet’s Birthday

In observance of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday on Friday, September 5, 2025, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will offer free public parking—excluding multi-level structures and the Al Khail Gate zone (N.365)—and extend Dubai Metro (Red and Green Lines) operating hours from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM the following day. Most RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed, but five “smart” self-service centres (Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Tawar, and RTA HQ) will remain operational 24/7 to support travelers during the holiday.
